B.VOC IN HOSPITAL STERILIZATION TECHNOLOGY
In B. Voc Hospital Sterilization Technology course a student is introduced to the central sterile supply department of a hospital. A student is educated about the various sterilization machines, techniques like autoclaving, heat and chemicals sterilization used to sterilize instruments. By the end of the course a student learns efficiently on how to use sterilization techniques to sterilize instruments and redistribute them into the hospital for future use.
B.VOC IN RADIOLOGY & MEDICAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGY
The Bachelor of Vocational Studies in Medical Imaging Technology course covers all aspects of the medical imaging process such as X-rays, CT scans, Ultrasound, MRI etc. The program aims to train students for a wide range of positions in the healthcare industry.
B.VOC IN OPERATION THEATRE TECHNOLOGY
The Bachelor of Vocation (B Voc) in Operation Theatre Technology program is a three – year undergraduate course. The course is designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the field of operation theatre technology. The program also includes practical training, which enable students to gain hands-on experience in operation theatre technology under the supervision of experienced professionals.
B.VOC IN MEDICAL RECORD TECHNOLOGY
A medical records technician is an administrative job which involves the task such as record keeping in medical offices and hospitals. The person keeps patients record updated and compiles with health care coding system and standards.
B.VOC IN DIALYSIS TECHNOLOGY
Dialysis is the artificial process of eliminating waste and unwanted water from the blood. The three year program provide students with the opportunity to study the principles of Dialysis, basic medical science of the kidney, fluid and electrolyte balance, hematologic aspects, infectious diseases, dialysis systems and equipment, vascular access to circulation, blood chemistry, complications of renal failure, psycho-social aspects and an overview of peritoneal dialysis and renal transplantation. In short, students are trained to operate Dialysis equipment, inspect and maintain it.
B.VOC IN CARDIAC CARE TECHNOLOGY
The Cardiac Technology course is a comprehensive program that trains individuals to measure how well a heart is functioning. The incumbent will get ample education to manage all non invasive and invasive cardiac lab equipment and procedures. Cardiac care technicians will administer various tests that assist the doctor in diagnosis such as ECG, echo, Holter, TMT etc. They will also assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular testing.
B.VOC IN PATIENT CARE MANAGEMENT
A graduate of B.Voc in patient care management is an all-rounder as far as patient care is concerned. The course builds overall expertise for managing patients in outpatient, emergency, inpatient or anywhere else in the hospital. PCM student will become efficient in skills related to personal care of patients, basic nursing procedures, patient ambulation and handling, biomedical waste disposal etc. This student would be capable of offering a range of services from paediatric care to geriatric care to cardiac care or care of cancer patients.
